Today, in the wake of the delays of both Redfall and Starfield, which were revealed by Bethesda, developer Techland announced the postponement of Dying Light 2 Stay Human‘s first major story DLC, previously rumored to be released in June-August 2022.
The announcement was made by the developers through an official post on the game’s official Twitter account. According to the developers behind the title, the decision to delay the release was made taking into account that the team needs more time to develop the game’s first major story expansion. The tweet also revealed that the DLC will now be released in September 2022.
After the announcement, they also revealed that the game’s upcoming first chapter, “In the Footsteps of a Nightrunner,” is set to be released in June 2022. Together with the announcement they also revealed the game’s updated roadmap of content,

Dying Light 2 Stay Human was first released in February 2022 to great reviews. In the game, players take on the role of a wanderer capable of making use of exceptional abilities, as they must fight throughout a world desolated by a deadly virus to uncover both the secrets behind their past and the truth behind their powers during a story where all of your choices matter. The game is set 20 years after the events of 2016’s Dying Light.
