Today, during the Dead Space Remake latest Developer Livestream, focused primarily on the game’s Lighting, Environments, Characters, VFX, and overall art, developer Motive Studio revealed that the highly anticipated remake of the groundbreaking survivor-horror, made entirely on the Frostbite Engine, will be released on January 27, 2023. The announcement was followed by a Twitter post focused on the set release date.

Following the announcement, Electronic Arts also revealed a new press release, featuring a roundup of all the main announcements made during the Livestream. The press release also featured a statement by the remake’s Senior Producer, Phillippe Ducharme, where he talked about his team’s feelings and goals, while also adding that the Dead Space Remake team ”can’t wait for players, both old and new, to see how we’ve elevated the original experience in the remake to be just as impactful for this generation.”

The announcement of the release date of Dead Space Remake can be seen as a shining light, especially on the day which featured the announcement of the delays of both Redfall and Starfield, as well as that of the first major story expansion of Dying Light 2 Stay Human.
The current-gen Dead Space Remake is set to be released in January 2023, exclusively for current generation consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X/S) and PCs. You can currently play all titles part of the original Dead Space trilogy on PC via both Steam and Origin.
